Group rides/clubs in Worcester and surrounding area

Hey,

 

Moving to Worcester next month. Recently came from Norway to South Africa. Looking to join a club in Worcester or near Worcester. I am used to doing a lot of solo riding, but everyone is warning me and being quite frantic when it comes to safety and cycling alone. Extremely frustrating, but I guess that's how it is here. Struggling a bit with finding clubs in Worcester or near Worcester. Anyone able to assist? Also, I am looking for ride companions. I am not working, and will hopefully be able to ride most days. Please also suggest routes from Worcester that is kind of safe when riding solo.

 

Edit:I only have a road bike for now. One that only works on pavement ???? planning to get a gravel bike as well

 I have had SUPERB service from King Cycles !!!  Its location is not "up-town", but their service is simply the best !!!

Thanks for your response. I fixed my post, only do road biking for now. I'll definitely check out those places. It is a beautiful country, hoping to enjoy many many kilometres on the bike.

Lookup Worcester Wheelers on FB. They are linked to Manic Cycles Chris mentioned afaik.

 

If you want to do group rides in the area you might need to sharpen up on your Afrikaans and invest in a gravel/mtb ;-)
