Yeah saw some aerial footage of Meiringspoort taken I think from that rescue chopper. It's looking severely damaged. Not just going to be a matter of clearing some debris off the road this time unfortunately. Large sections of roadway undermined and destroyed.

There are many trails and roads in the region that will be out of reach for a long time after this! Seweweekspoort also closed.
