Im in need of 29 x2.40 front and rear for my trek tope fuel EX9.8. I ride mostly cross country tho.

Currently running Bontregger team, but I'm finding these tyre harder to peddle and feel slower. On my Scott I have Maxxis Ardent Race which really run well. Im just wondering if its an actual fact and not just my head playing games with me, but the MAxxis feel like they roll much easier.

Anyone able to shed light on this? Is it really possible for a tyre to make such a big difference.

Is it a Fuel EX or a Top Fuel? There is no Top Fuel EX.

I have Ardent Race front and rear on my Top Fuel and I'm really happy with them. I had a Rekon Race on the back and found it slid out way too much in corners.
