We've had one in with a loose shock bolt so far. Loctite and a torque wrench and it hasn't been seen since.

 

Many (but not all) of these issues are caused by people not following (or even reading) the instructions. Older Santa Cruz pivots that destroy themselves spring to mind, as do creaky Scalpels. If you assemble them properly you won't have an issue. If the Spark pivot bolt turns out to be a repeat offender I'll report back.

I think the new Spark looks pretty cool, but I'd rather not have the internal shock. Dirt will always find its way in there and cleaning the shock stanchions and checking pivot bolts will be a chore even if it only needs to happen every so often.
