Banhoek

I'm wanting to head to Banhoek tomorrow morning, but I heard that the gate only opens at 8am.

Does anyone know if it's possible to ride before that, where can one park etc?

Any info appreciated.

Well if it’s Old Bethlehem Farm in Kylemore they open at 6am and you can park there too.

Don't follow your GPS it will take you on a long detour to nowhere. Take the Kylemore turn of and stay left till you see the parking lot.

I'm also thinking of riding there on Saturday.

Was planning from the Goddess trail (park at Tokara then start just off Helshoogte on the Stellenbosch side) - to Start of Banhoek Conservancy - Botmanskop SkyTraverse - Camissa up Oldenburg road - Nick Nacks - Bethlehem SkyTraverse - into Boschendal.

But did read a while back that Botmanskop had some safety issues ?

I hope Banhoek has recovered - some trails were absolutely wrecked after Origin of Trails on Sunday.  Camissa was a mudbath and unride-able by the time I got there (C-batch).

There were two teams of builders out repairing this morning and everything we rode was great.
