Hi all,

I've run into the familiar issue of rear bottom bracket mounted aero brake catching on my new crank based power meter.

I've heard that switching to a non-shimano/sram/campag brake would work. Something like Tektro, TRP or even Bonrager.

Does anyone know of a local shop in SA that stocks these types of things?

Not keen to wait for deliver as I'm racing this weekend and STRONGLY considering just taking the rear brake off all together. It's a straight, triathlon TT course. No need for stopping until the end!

Thanks

Any bike shop would be able to order for you from Omnico, if they have an account. The chances of getting before the weekend are slim considering it is Friday...

Yes! That's exactly what I need. Where is this in stock?

With Omnico. Your LBS will need to order from them.

Will have to see if I can locate an LBS with stock already.

Thanks for the help!

More aero too without it. And at least you can always use your foot on the back wheel 😗

Didn't consider the foot on the back wheel technique. Absolutely doing that now 🤣
