not related but we rode with tin foil over our socks in Mallorca. Worked like a charm.

(I actually just wanted to drop the word Mallorca into this thread)

Mallorca.

I was listening to a swim instructor at my kids swim school tell anothe rmom of her adventures in Mal'orca in a south JHB accent.

Ma'zhor'ka people pronounce it Ma'zhor'ka

It was like running my ear over a cheese grater

If they were talking about Magaluf then their adventures involved committed cash only long term (<1hr) relationships.

Is it not muh-yaw-kuh?

a double LL is pronounced as a ya/yo/ye depending on the letter following the double LL; the Spanish working at the Italian confectionery company I worked for shared the pronunciation.

Paella is p-e-ya

I have one of these boys and it works great and is one of the best bits of cycling kit I've ever owned. But it's most certainly not waterproof. Water delay is more accurate.

It's best use for me is that first 20 minutes when you leave home in winter before you are warm. It's amazing to keep the wind chill at bay.
