Ja will be doing the 60K but am going to use it as a training ride...so low heart rate with a stop at every water point and beer in my backpak.

It's only 60k's why you need a backpack Confused

Hmmmm... is the route hilly? What time does the sweep vehicle come to pick me up halfway up the first hill?

Not the short one. There's a small one towards the 1st water point. Believe me you'd be super chuffed when you turn right and dont have to do the monster that's ahead of you  LOL then like 100km on frikkin flat dirt road with some tar in between to make it more challenging Wink

Hog, after BG's apt description you coming? Like I said you can have coffee and pancakes with Dirtrider and the other ladies and then start at 9:45 (won't be so cold then either!).

The Spruit is open 24/7

Always an option' date=' I just prefer riding the Spruit in a group, since there's plenty vagrants these days, especially Bryanston side.

Is the sun switched on by then?? What kind of pace? I'm not exactly race-snake material.

It's not about the bike paint job, it's about the bike! At least there is hope for 1 member of the family.

Aren't you 2 doing Epic together? You singlespeed?
