Rear shock doesn't work/stopped moving

I've recently worked on my DT Swiss M210 rear shock.

I've removed the lockout parts on the shock and since then the shock has stopped working. The shock has completely stopped moving

Almost like it has seized.

I've released all the air from the shock and that made no difference.

Does anyone know what the problem might be or should I rather take the shock in for a service?

Of you removed the external adjuster and the shock is A remote lock then that cam is spring loaded

and removing all the bits might have let the cam move to where the compression is now just closed i.e. the shock is locked

so send it in for a service cause you're likely not to put back the external assembly correctly

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out.

Your best bet is to contact Robbie's Bicycle Concept as he is the suspension guru as well as the importer of DT Swiss Suspension (Get Stoked Distribution does everything non suspension from DT)

You can reach them here:
