Sascoc also don't know that it's not really beneficial to tell a road racing cyclist that she will need to be ready for the Olympic Games road race in just four weeks! As if the flipping Olympic race isn't hard enough' date=' they're now up against administrator ignorance... [/quote']

Well, yes you have a point. But they should be in peak condition in any case. The men are, or Hunter en JL is, they are at tdf, then its oplympics and then worlds (they have probably better chance on winning then the ladies as they racing with the best constantly)...... but then our ladies sit here in good RSA and have our couple winter races to prep on for the olympics. Why are they not overseas? Yolandi and Arien is starting to get in great condition again and both are showing it in the last couple tours. Saw yesterday at the ladies tt at giro that the winning avg is 47km/h......allthough flat road they had head wind all the way. And we want to compete with them after our SA champs results. Don't tell me mtn don't have large enough budget to send them overseas where they should be.

Anycase, goodluck Marissa and Cherise on going. Give it your all, i'm holding thumbs!Thumbs%20Up and so too for the men!!

Jokes aside, why aren't riders like Yolandi and Arien selected? They are at least currently racing overseas, getting some experience and exposure to high level racing they will get at the Olympics. What gives? Are I missing something?
