Bikemania Posted September 25, 2022 Share Good morning to all. a few years ago, on every Wednesday evening, there would be a XCO like event in Delta Park (JHB). We would race on a 2km loop in just one hour and try to accumulate as many laps as possible. It was the perfect after work activity with a great crowd. Danger Dassie Posted September 25, 2022 Share Good times, that and the Mintek sorties! They stopped doing it some years back, apparently a security risk. But in reality I think it was because it became too much PT to organise. I know Taroko our at Modderfontein are doing weekly social night rides/runs on a Wednesday. But nothing racing wise. Was usually John Michael or, Stuart and later Ryan started winning. I was involved in the organisation. We also did children's rides once a month at Mintek until an attempted hijacking at the club....
