I saw one at our local bike store going for R29.00 (not a double barrel like the one in the pic) thinking of getting it .. ok obviously not for any future races cos I think the other riders might lose their sense of humor - just -irritate other people on the road

Yeah maybe its not such a bad idea especially with these stupid pedestrians crossing the road -- I slapped one silly last year that got in my way ---

 

speaking of which - coming to work this morning just pass the Nelson Mandela bridge a pedestrian - big black female runs across the road in the face of an on coming motor bike - the biker  & pedestrian goes down, bike lands up way down the pavement & pedestrian somewhere else .......

 

truth be told: I hope the biker is ok.

We have one like this but with only one horn. It is mounted right under my saddle so EM can operate it. We do not really have much traffic on our roads but the goats, donkeys and cattle can be a problem. Children next to the road can also be dangerous. Ugly, not really heavy but it works.
