Event Name: Prince George 100 Miler
When: 14/10/2023
Where: Prince Albert, Western Cape
Category: Gravel

Prince George will be the most diverse one-day race you’ll ever experience in terms of its change of route geography over 165km. It is a monumental race starting in the picturesque town of Prince Albert in the Great Karoo, through the Klein Karoo, over two mountain ranges - which are also National Monuments, with an oasis-like finish at the coastal town of George on the Garden Route.

The vast landscapes and diverse overload of the non-technical routes are the perfect race for all mountain- and gravel bike enthusiasts alike.

Anyone flying down from Joburg for this?
I am looking to share a shuttle from George to the start on Friday 13 October.

Hey Jarrad, can't recall, did Dryland not offer any suggestions?

My only other thought would be to contact the bike shops in the George area (Coimbra/Ride Life/etc) and find out if any club members or the like are traveling through and can offer you a lift.

Thanks for the suggestions, Roul.

Nah, the race has not offered any help. I did contact them.
I also emailed Coimbra, but no reply.
I will try Ride Life.

Otherwise, it's Zeelie Taxis.

Why not fly to Cape Town instead, you may have more takers. If non rent a vehicle then use the transfer service from Start to End. Leave rental at George airport if that is an option or drive back to Cape Town.

Hi @JarradVZ

I just entered and you have an option that Blanco Primary can collect your car.

I am only doing the 50 miler - otherwise, I would have helped you out.

Also, contact JP / Martin or Fred at Ride for Life - they will also know who has space for your bike.

Sorry I could not help and good luck to you.

Hopefully to see at the end ;)

Kind regards

Cassie
