Johan1983 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Hi All Recently i read in the news that Clarens Drive is open again for Cars It was so nice when it was closed to cycle Question : With the Stop and Go in place, is it even worthwhile cycling the route at this moment without stopping to much?
bleedToWin Posted January 9 Posted January 9 1. When it was closed for cars it was technically also closed for cyclists... 2. Very nice still, and not too busy. The stop and go sections are short. On Sunday I think I had to stop only at two on the way back, and on the way out got waved through every single time.
Frosty Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Last week, I was stopped at one only. The locals said they will close it again after the holiday period to allow for permanent repairs.

Gert van Wyk7 Posted November 6 Posted November 6 I cycle there almost every day. The stops are very short you will wait maybe a minute or two. There is currently 3 stops from GB to Rooi Els. Very nice route 👌 dexterdent 1
