e-bikes are the great levelers of climbs ..... 

 

Then again .... get your gearing wrong on those climbing switchbacks and you QUICKLY learn that ebikes are useless at low revs ..... it VERY quickly stops assisting !  When riding these trails for the first time you quickly get caught out.  I saw many an ebiker jump off when the bikes stalls.  And when the rider in front of you stops, you loose your revs and also stall out.

 

 

 

 

 

 

During the holiday I was riding with @KB280DT, nice slow pace up a hill ..... an ebiker came FLYING past .....  @KB280DT just laughed at my utterances .....
