Cyclists are urged to Please be vigilant when cycling through Woodstock along Marine Drive and FW De Klerk Boulevard and Lower Church street.  Please try cycle in groups, stay close together and be aware of your surroundings. Don't stop along these routes.

Motorists are also urged to be vigilant when using Marine Driver on ramp to FW De Klerk Boulevard and Lower Church Street Woodstock, donot sit with open windows and cellphone in hand, even if you are a passenger. Don't leave cellphones handbags etc on car seats.

We have seen an increase in Robberies despite Woodstock SAPS best efforts in trying to maintain high visibility in the area to prevent these Robberies from occurring.

So i dont want to sound too inhumane, but i sit in that traffic everyday and ive notice that part of the reason that settlement is growing and being sustained is because there is a freely available, what looks like a fresh water source. There seems to be a pipe/valve/tap or something where they line up to collect water every morning. By the fence. Dont know if its something that feeds the my-city station that got intersected/appropriated - but dort that out and it will sure halt the speed at which people are moving there?

And Sanral and Transnet must secure their fences, as the vagrants has free access to an almost unlimited source in income from the metal and cables they can appropriate from the respective properties.

That's why they are flocking there.

Whats inhumane is that the less fortunate are not better taken care of.. plenty of land that could be provided with a sustainable water source already there or provided for.
