[Event] Tour de PPA

I have received the 'updated' seeding email today with no change.

If the beta for Tour de PPA was 0.94 (as MongooseMan stated, I haven't seen anywhere else) I would have gone from 54 to 47. Would that be enough to see a change in my seeding?

I also entered Tour de PPA as a late entrance so wondering if it might have been missed due to that fact. (if my new seeding is enough of a change)

Jip, seems they sent out the final seeding emails at 5pm today.

 

Same as what RaceTec site was showing.

The highest placed “Duncan” at Tour de PPA did 3:45:21

assuming that’s you, that gives a seeding of 56

this is my understanding of the seeding index: ((((myTime / winnersTime) – 1) / Beta) x 100)

so... (((3.75/2.5)-1)/0.94)x100=53        (i see my error was /beta not *beta)

I see i have a different winners time? Finish Time 2h 30m 40s?

Winner’s time is adjusted using linear regression to “what would a winner with an index of 0 have gotten in theory?”

How do you devide the two times ?

 

Do you change it to minutes first ?

Don’t think it matters as long as they are the same units? Hours or minutes or seconds.
