Hi all, I had the fortunate luck to strip both the holes that are used for the screws from my MTB cleats. What should I do now? Is there spare parts I could purchase to fix this or is there a bikeshop or someone that could help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Try visiting your local Specialized store. The S-Works shoes should have a lifetime warranty on that part; I had Boa systems swapped on older shoes, and I was informed that the S-Works have a lifetime warranty. Additionally, original Shimano cleats should come with that part included in the box.

I think those plates are universal so any shop will have them unless those shoes have specific plates which I doubt, I had the misfortune of stripping one on my road shoe and they were able to find me a replacement. Unlike the boa’s they do not carry any warranty though.

Hi barry, thank for the advice. Will pop a visit to my local Spez shop and hopefully they can replace it.

Thank you for the input. Will definitely take a look at new one's. Are they easy to fit, because I tried to take them out by nou luck from my side.

Remove inner sole, and inner can usually be peeled away to enable extraction of unit, often with difficulty though

If you remove the inners, you should see a cutout in the cardboard sole, sometimes just an outline. Use a Stanley knife to cut along this outline until the flap lifts, allowing you to remove the plate.

I had a pair of Sidis with the same problem.   The screws  on the right shoes just kept on loosing to the point that uncleating was impossible as the shoe turned with the cleat.  So by pure luck I changed the cleats.  It was ever so slightly  thinner.  This made the screw go in deeper and grabbed onto the last bit tread left and it work perfectly.  It migh be an option? And it's quick and easy.  🤔

A quick acknowledgement and thank you for your continual generosity regarding insights and bits of kit and even components.

The new bib that you kindly passed my way has been great on a tight rotation schedule (and budget), lasting several thousands of k's thus far and is very much appreciated.  Thank you.

Thank you for your generosity Barry! I am going to buy new cleats with the plates at Cyclelab like you mentioned.

Hi Mads, I had the same problem before the stripping of the cleats and it's vrek annoying. I did try everything in my power to fix it... even watched a few Youtube videos, but no luck. I am going to visit CL and LCC tomorrow to see if they can help. Appreciate the response.
