Anyone heard of a Nancia commuter bike?

Hi ... A friend came across an old Nancia commuter bike, and is curious to find out more about the brand, and if there is any way to tell it's provenance (age, maybe where it was originally manufactured/sold, etc)?

Any advice or comments will be appreciated

Nancia was a French company who manufactured steel frames in the 70’s. On some bicycles they used Vitus tubing which had a date stamp. They usually used simplex groupsets. I have never seen one locally though. Lovely looking bike. The cable guide running on top of the rear stay would date it in the 70’s
