I have followed manufacturers instructions wrt chain line, I don’t shift when putting down power (I don’t put down any for that matter) and according to my bike app my cassette should still be good. I have been through three or four chains and the current one has 5 quick links in… 

I have been using the nx 11 spd chain and once had a shimano chain on there. My cassette and derailleur are both Sram NX 11 speed from 2019… or around there.  I’ll attach pics if that helps with anything.
And sommer a pic of the latest chain less lean cause why not.

I use dry lube and washed the bike before taking pics. When I looked at it I also thought damn that looks rusty.
