Consolidating two bikes into one for indoor and road use (Cape Town)

Question:
Current bikes: Specialized Rockhopper Comp 29 and Titan Charge e-two electric bicycle. Rockhopper on Wahoo Kickr Core for Zwift.
I am 39, 113 kg, 184cm, with spinal stenosis. FTP 165 W and VO2max 30.4 (intervals.icu). On a 6-week FTP builder plan on Zwift. Goal: get fit.

I want one bicycle for trainer and road. What is the least hassle way to do this? Should I sell or trade both and get one bike, possibly a Specialized Allez? I need trainer compatibility with the Kickr Core and road use in Cape Town. What frame type, fit steps for spinal stenosis, and gearing should I look at? Any other models to consider?

My advice would be to sell the Titan e-bike and keep the Rock Hopper as a dedicated bike for the IDT. Then buy a decent road or Gravel bike for the road. If you get a road bike, get an endurance frame, something like a Trek Domane which has a more comfortable geometry and will put less strain on your back. Gravel bikes also have more comfortable geometry and can take wider road tyres for increased comfort.

Having a dedicated bike for the IDT just makes life easier.

This, 100% solid advice. SLIGHTLY more 'sit-up-and-beg' position aids the back...
