Kicr Climb belt replacement

Anybody knows where I can get a replacement belt  Locally for my Kickr Climb.

With the help of YouTube I managed to disassemble it. Not that complicated

First want to try source one locally as importing one will be quite expensive

I have tried a few automotive spares shops (Midas etc.) with no luck. The pitch of timing belts differs from this belt

I have tried Bearing man  - with no luck.

My local bike shop tried to source one from wahoo distributor but with no luck.

I have tried a few local online shops but appears to be an odd size / pitch.

Some people re-use the broken belt with the broken section between the two clamps where the bracket for  front axle mounts onto the belt (the belt does not rotate in full) but not ideal.

Details of the belt : optibelt Omega    152  8M   04  04  04    (14mm)

Any help will be highly appreciated!

Have you tried contacting Wahoo directly?

My past interactions with them have been very good - they have always been very helpful.

I know that your LBS has contact them, but you may get a different result if you speak to Wahoo directly

This may help, not sure if you have it already:

This is an Optibelt OMEGA 1152 8M timing belt.

Breaking down the specs from the markings:

  • Brand: Optibelt
  • Series: OMEGA (their HTD/curvilinear tooth profile line)
  • 1152: Belt pitch length of 1152mm
  • 8M: 8mm tooth pitch

So the full designation is 1152-8M (sometimes written as 8M-1152). The second image confirms the HTD-style rounded tooth profile consistent with an 8M belt.

If you need a replacement for your Wahoo KICKR Climb, you can search for any quality HTD 1152-8M belt — it doesn't have to be Optibelt specifically. Gates PowerGrip HTD or Continental would also work as direct replacements. Just match the belt width as well (measure the width in mm — likely around 12mm or 20mm).

Try to match this by Midas or some car parts business like Goldwagen ect. Worth a try. Just bring the belt with you and they can measure it against a generic part they may have.
