Not to derail the K2C, but the Trans Baviaans on the 8th of Aug is also in that area and I see the road into the kloof is now a river!

The 36one is going to be impact to. They already send out a msg that they planning to change the route but it looks hectic out there. I think the Meiringspoort 21.1km isn't going to take place this year to. The road to Cango caves is close to with a big rock fall

Don't hold your breath. This is one of multiple such messages noting road closures. Essentially the district got weather bomber into oblivion and fixing this will take long.

Jip, that one i spotted last week, that's why I mention Meiringspoort will be out of order for some time.
