Cbist Racing 1 Posted November 8, 2006 Share i WOULD JUST LIKE TO INFORM ALL THE HUBBERS THAT TWO OF THE CBIST LADIES CYCLISTS ELSA KARSTEN AND LOUISE MURPHY WERE HIT BY A CAR THIS MORNING ON THE DR SWANEPOEL ROAD,, AFTER TRAINING FOR THE UP COMING BAKWENA RACE. THE RIDERS WERE TAKEN TO HOSPITAL AND HAD A FULL MEDICAL CHECK UP,, LUCKY NOTHING BROKEN,, BUT ALL BRUISED AND BATTERED,,, THEY HAVE SOME SERIOUS INFLAMATION ,, BUT WILL BE BACK ON THEIR BIKES ,, WE HOPE VERY SOON,,, THE TEAM HAS BEEN TRAINING VERY HARD FOR THE LAST TWO RACES, AND SOMETHING LIKE THIS ,, WAS JUST NOT NECESSARY. BY THE WAY THE DRIVER A OLDISH MAN NEVER EVEN STOPPED AND A RIDER HAD TO CHASE AFTER HIM TO TELL HIM WHAT HAPPENED AND GOT ALL HIS DETAILS..
