Petzl sales support

I was thinking of getting a Petzl Ultra headlamp (as a backup) for next weekend's Mugg & Bean 24 hour.

Now to get one seems to be more diffiicult than an Olympic medal. The shops tell me to contact the distributor, Eiger Equipment. These guys don't bother to answer emails or phone calls. For more than a week now. I wish I could send a PK via fax.

I needed a new headlamp recently and purchased the Black Diamond Icon.

 

Light output and durablility is far better than the previous Petzl Tikka that I had. Unfortunately it was specially ordered as my Sponsor doesn't normally stock them. Try Drifters in Sandton, they should be able to help.

Dude. Forget the Petzl. I've got one (Tikka Plus I think), it cost me over R400.

 

I bought my dad an Energizer branded one from Makro for R100. It kills the Petzl. MUCH brighter.
