javadude Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 Apparently the chemicals used in some paints is highly toxic, do you use a special mask when you paint?
AndreZA Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 It's non more toxic then the stuff you use on a car. Just a good Q mask with replacable filters is fine. And eye wear.
TokenFreak Posted August 22, 2008 Author Posted August 22, 2008 Velo the dangerous chemicals is mostly found in the Hardener that you add to the clearcoat. I spray with basecoat and that only gets thinned down with thinners. Ist not as harmful as the the iso- cyanide and xylene in the hardener.
