Money involved to make up a sponsored team

In the Western Cape in the Leagues(Elite or Vets)....how much money does it cost to make up a team. I know you have the normal "perks" like entries are paid for, maybe each one get's a helmet, clothes, etc. Does anybody knows?

If you go to PEZ he has a break done for a team that is starting in Canada. (Can get it on the hubs home page). It is interesting reading.

 

 

 

Obviously you are actually looking to copy and paste someone elses business plan and proposal so that you can give it into a sponsor you already have in mind. I think Crux should be able to give some pointers there.

Just curious because the league sponsors are not serious sponsors and just give the minimal. Would lime to have a rough estimate how much it will ocst just to get everything together.

Well I don't know, we get our Kits free - 2Bibbs and Cycling Shirts and we get to race for free. So add the kit cost and Entry fees and you should get a idea or just ask BikeMax?!?!

And we get our registration Laegue fees back.

 =  i can not give u exac. amount but our sponsor pays our entries,  helmet , clothing 4 bibs, 4shirts , 4pair overshoes , skinsuit for tt's winter jacket , arm warmers leg warmers , league fees, overnight cost with +_ 2 away races per year airoplane tickets and many other extra's inc.

 

This was for 6 riders. = you look @ +_R150000.00 can get away with r100000.00. As i said i estimated........

its very expensive - for kit alone you looking at 25k

Depends how many races, how many riders, whether your sponsor can get kit cheaper (eg Anatomic sponsoring a team would pay less for kit).  Work it out from there.  Maybe include some travel cost to push for a bit more.

Don't be silly man. Ppl like riding in teams / /belonging to a group. I'd say just give them a kit and race fees, that's plenty enough! Can't be all that expensive, it needed be either way. It would be soooooooo nice to have Vodacom/MTN on board for a "social" team to give R150 000. It will be nothing for them!

They sponsor everything that moves in this country exept cycling...

Wonder how I can get them to sponsor a team? Where to begin? Any help how to get in contact with the right guys to sponsor?
