Classic example of Form BEFORE Function in those wheels.

 

I pondered over the design for a few minutes and then slapped my forehead (after letting go of the mouse). It's a Mercedes mascot that. Three-pointed star and all.

 

Perhaps I'm too harsh, form does follow function - look at that curved downtube that seems to have no purpose when fully extended but in its folded position it makes sense.

 

Transformers are great fun. I've got a Giant that folds up like that and it travels all over the show with me. Although mine isn't a Merc, it does have nifty folding pedals.

Hi JB, folding pedals in storage and the bike has taken some nasty falls and still going strong, wheels are also surprisingly strong and still run true. bike might look wierd but is as functional as any mid range MTB(even at 16kgDead)
