Fandacious i am jealous because you have those sorts of views but i am not jealous because those cape town drivers are dodgier than a cheap chinese hook smiley5.gif sorry meant cheap sushi

?

I honestly dunno. havent ever ridden in jozi traffic. However.. dont confuse somerset west/strand/gordons bay with cape town. In all my years riding' date=' i've never so much as even lost skin on the road, and the taxi's are always super alert and always give way to me. MTB is a different story, but thats normally because i'm braver than i should be

sounds fair.. we have more than enough of the things anyways... Wink

there's a niche, buddy. let's get in now. fly them in for whale hunting as opposed to viewing tours. great whites will always pitch up where's there's whale blubber, so we can combine the two smiley2.gif

SOme of these whales never go away anymore. In Gansbaai there is a couple of whales that stay there the whole year round.

It is close to Great White Island, so that would be a good place to start with your enterprise...

Cape Town is undoubtedly THE best place on earth when the weather is like that' date=' which is about 10 days a year. I live in Joburg where the weather is like that 330 days a year... [/quote']

Ja, but one thing you Gauties will never admit to is that 1 day like that in CT = 330 days in Jo'burg.

No contest. Quite simple realy!

Sigh. Just saw this now. Was floating around my pool on a lilo for the third day in succession. Was a bit knackered after my third successive mid-morning MTB ride on the Braamfontein Spruit in glorious sunny, warm weather. Note to self: Must apply a stronger sunblock when riding.

How's that Cape Town weather been the last few days?

THe weather is actually pretty nice today.

Instead of riding I've been bodyboarding the last couple of day. You guys can't brag about surfing can you?

Nope we can't. Not the surfing you're referring to. But then if surfing were my thing I'd probably not be a member of this forum and I'd probably live at the coast. But it's not, I am and I don't. Oh, got to dash. Must move the sprinkler and apply more sunblock...

My dad was down from PE and was staying at his uncle's place in betty's bay so I popped in there for coffee. It was exactly 100km round trip from home and back.. and an absolutely beautiful day to be doing it... how was your guys ride?
