We?re gonna be having the second Critical Mass on Friday the 26th of September, that?s next Friday. If you don?t know what Critical Mass is use Google, basically we?re gonna be joining the global fight against the automobile and the creation of a viable bicycle transport network (don?t get me started).<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

The first Critical Mass was held on the 5th of this month, it wasn?t so much a critical mass as the critical 4, now I?m not blaming you lot for not pitching due to the weather delay from the previous weekend, but the lot of you sure as hell had better pitch this damn time!

The details are as such: We meet at the Baxter at 06:40 to depart at 06:45, then we meet another group at the bottom of Long Street at 07:15. From there we do short round trip through the Waterfront and back through Greenpoint and then once back to town we can disperse in the various directions we need to.

A few notes:

1. Dress Casual, we?re trying to show that commuting isn?t just for lycra clad freaks.

2. This isn?t a training ride so don?t treat it as such.

And lastly, see you all there, vive le revolution!

Ok after doing some research on the Critical Mass initiative I have decided that I will be taking part on Friday, anything to boost the numbers.

This sort of ride needs to have a decent number of people taking part. I would think a group of 100 would start to make an impact.

We all want to make our streets safer and this is an ideal way to get the message across, and for the moment we actualy have a Mayor in CT who will listen to us.

I know a different critical mass, which doesn't aim at peaceful demonstration of bicycle transport though. At cycle messenger events, once it's dark and the spirits high you get a big mob of crazy asses and just hit town. Disobey anything and just go for it. If the bunch is big enough all the police can do is actually stopping the traffic for you!

Different, but also nice...and more critical.

So lets get tooHot!!! in the front and hit it off LOL
