Just realised, was it way out past the N14 highway bridge? Sorry forgot that is still Beyers Naude. Then it probably was me on the way back.

Yes, on both accounts, had been partying the night before, and yes, it was down the bottom of Beyers Naude.  I was riding up in the opposite direction cos I wanted to take a ride along that new road that cuts across to meet up with the cradle road.   Not bad, just the last km or so is still dirt.

Delgado: Take the N3 highway to Durban ... Between 5-10 km (I think) after the Alberton turn-offs (could even be the Vosloorus turnoff); there is an off-ramp that indicates "Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve" At the top of the bridge turn right and about 5-8km further you will see the reserve on your left ....

Thanks bud....I normally ride on the western side of Suikerbosrand (HTH route) around Daleside on Karee Road. But if the entrance is well signposted I should find it. I need to put in some hills for Panorama 07. Once again thanks...

You can also go R59, take the off ramp after the Blockhouse go over the bridge, turn right and go through the dorp and out onto the main road (H2H route)  with Kareekloof on your left. You have to park outside the gate but there is a guard there.

Thanks goofs but on Saturday we are meeting at the other (main) gate. You can also get to it from the R59 but it is the turnoff before at Nampak.
