Ritchey Pro Girder XC probleem

Cois

Recommended Posts

Reply from Pro Bike:

Dear Francois

Thank you for your e-mail and support of the Ritchey brand. I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with these wheels.

I believe the freehub bearings are running dry. The best solution to this is to have them serviced or replaced by a Ritchey dealer. Alternatively you can have the freehub body replaced at a nominal price.

Speak to your preferred cycle dealer to assist you with this.

Robbie's a cool guy, he always tries to help where he can. I remember the one year at the Argus expo 2 of us were chasing one of the Powerade girls, and she was slippery as hell, Robbie stepped in to help, very good bloke!

I have Ritchey XC wheels, and the free body has been giving me hassles from day one. I now just ignore the sounds it makes, and ride it until it stops working, and then replace it (done this 3 times already).

o boy.  Why didn't I just get the Shimano wheels.  O ja.  The spokes were of the wrong manuf.
