where do you normally leave from.

Sorry asking the Q's. But did all my convincing to the other half that she would do 50km's to the top of Breedts. So I will have to start from that Bird shop place and meet up along the road somewhere with you guys then.. Cry

Normally leave from my folks place.

from my folks place its 28 kays to the top of breedts nek. 50 kays would get her to the bottom of Breedts Nek (without the climb) and back.

The beauty about this route is that it's out and back, so if at any point the distance is too much you guys can just turn around and head back... or we could all convince her to do the climb Big%20smileWink and she can wait at the top for us?

The route we are planning is over Breedts Nek to the shebeen and back again... from my folks place that's a total of 69.2kms

I am not sure what a "shpongle" is... But I dont think it will tell me distance. Although it may 'point' me in the right direction  Big%20smile

does sam pedal with her elbow?

Jokes... Hope she heals quickly
LOL

Ja, it looked nasty - we could see the ligament. Dead Fortunately we were close to Peter Place and got a friend to take her up to Sandton Mediclinic.

Myself and my fiance have developed a reputation of breaking our friends. Two months ago it was a lady at Groenkloof who fractured her wrist. Then Eldron fell down the bank at Van Gaalens six weeks ago. Sam had to  spectate at the KZN Expedition... when she would rather have been riding.

I think the Hub riders will be fine as long as they don't follow us.  But since it's our first time there I'm sure we'll be doing the following. From what I hear it's not very technical... or is there some fun stuff? Big%20smile

Dude!! Shocked You do know that bicycle refers to sports equipment and not your sexual orientation...

I knew there was a reason why I don't wear lycra anymore. Definitely will be the day to bring out the reinforced baggies.

Just a recap' date=' how about directions?[/quote']Bottom of page 23.

Maybe Nancy can re-write them a little simpler? Seems overly complicated right now, and way too much to read. Tongue
