Bruce what you reckon? 20% more?

LA = 400watts?

I seem to remember reading an article a while ago where they said LA's hour hour threshold was 460watts!!!

lees in bicycling LA doen 5 ure training ride teen AVERAGE Power van 260-300 watt..

Ek weet hier is mense wat sal s? "so what?". Wel ek kan net droom van sulke average vir n uur..!! om net hierby uit te kom vir my, met NP power,  vir n uur is "Going flat out"

In the Chris Carmichael article, he gave a figure of just below 400w for LA's current FTP.

I think 20% is too much for the draft advantage for 2 reasons:

1. LA is quite a bit smaller than this John dude, WKO+ file has John at 86kg.

2. LA in an aero position is not going to be providing much shelter to the guy behind him.

So, maybe 10% to 15%, which correlates well with the Chris Carmichael article.  Would guesstimate LA's weight to be around 75kg at the moment.

But then is his power figures not then average or eve below average for a Pro @ 86kg.

First Half 356avg watts: 4.14 W/kg
Second half 325avg watts: 4.10 W/kg

Isn't that like vets type power stats?

4.1 is about how hard I race at Killarney - it's by no means easy ( for me ) but a Pro can do MUCH better.
