You know Hager, I'm just very puzzled what makes you hate a bunch of people so much that all you want to do is ridicule them publicly.....why is this gauy hating cyclists so much.....?  I mean really, so what if you want to keep your helmet on in a coffee shop....

This guy is such a tjop.

I think he is an overweight ugly slob that is just jealous of the people that do look good in lycra and a helmet.

He seems to have it in for cyclists and the way they dress. Why doesn't he rather go around and take photos of the litter bugs and cyclists that transgress the laws of the road and maybe in that way get them to clean up their attitude instead of complaining about something that nobody really notices?

He seems to think that just because a person in a restaurant has an expression on their face that they are reacting to the cyclists with their helmets on.

Grow up Seth!!!!....that is if you ever will

Or... you tossers in cape town could learn to take your helmets off when you go to coffee shops or whatever... you do look a bit on the retarded side, sitting there, drinking your lattes, with your helmets on...

I actually just had a fairly good laugh after seeing the site for the first time..

You do realise that speedos and lycra shorts are purpose made and should not be worn in public when not used for that specific purpose...

I dont mind seeing the dudes in helmets- it tells me they made the effort n dragged their butts out of bed and are out doing something healthy and that they enjoy (not sitting round getting fat n lazy)what bugs me is when some cyclists decided to parade round in their kit for the rest of the day- doing errands, visiting friends etc smelling like armpit! Not cool. Go for a latte during your ride, keep your helmet, but afterwards PLEASE wash n change before going out in public again.

I have just read a bit more of column, and it seems he is raging an all out attack on cyclists. From the fact that we wear skin tight lycra to our helmet issues and even trying to say what age groups should be riding bicycles.

Who the hell elected this dumb f*cknut to be the fashion police and try and teach us "social ettiquette" as he puts it?

The only thing he seems to get right is that he calls the HUB the mecca of cycling in SA.

The other day at Giovanni's I saw two surfers in their wetsuits, a sumo wrestler in his thong, a bass fisherman in his waders, two cricketers in their full batting kit with helmets on, a go-cart racer who needed a quick coffee between laps, in his full racing kit with helmet, four golfers with studs and argyle socks and a dojo of kung fu blackbelts in their kit. What the hell? Was this a national sports day or something??

Nobody wants to look at some sweaty bunch in spandex with helmets on.

Noobie...10/10! nice comment.
