Hi,

 

If I ride a size 50 road bike, what size MTB should I be looking for?

 hey freshie,found this somewhere on the web,they generally reckon your mountain bike should be 1 size smaller than your roadbike size,hope this table helps

Dirty said it . Although the above chart can be very usefull it seems that every manufacturer got their own standards when it comes to MTB sizing . Go and take a bike for a test ride . This coming weekend at Northern Farms is a must visit for you . They gonna have a few demo bikes there .

Freshie, is your 50cm bike a compact 50cm or a standard 50cm? Compact it should be a M to L, standard is should be a small or maybe an XS.
