Ox dude it aint for me it's for Mini ME.

Are you doing the Potch duathlon ?

It maybe a good 'test run' before Mini ME starts doing the triathlons.

I ain't doing any triathlons, but I'll be there to support Mini ME and our very own Uncle OOM TRUBIE.

They look like serious fun but to swim 600m, eish that's very far and I can't even use fins.

Since MiniME is focussing on triathlons I suppose he'll want to do more than last year, so maybe Potch; Roodeplaat; Germiston; Vaal then after that it's the JHB series where MiniME wants to do an olympic distance triathlon.

Which one's you doing OX ?

@Andy

We've taken the goal discussion to email, if you want PM me your email address and I'll include you in our communications.

You haven't any goals for the 94.7 ???

BB How much more difficult is the Walkerville 60km than the 65 at Babbas?

Indigo... I'l first have to go to gym and try to swim 24 lengths at some point, before I'll decided on the triathlons.... But the triathlon thingy is very intriguing... smiley1.gif

However, if pigs can fly, then bricks can swim hey?

Behind Ox I only did 1 race ever at Babbas some few years ago and for sure I do not remember anything close to the climbs at Walkerville (actually I just remember much thick sand ....). That Bored Girl lady she knows ......

BB, they've taken ALL of the water crossings out now, and added one where you cycle on cement over a bridge (with some water flowing over it)... But the sand.... I'm sure the Babbas route is busy desertifying! Every sharp turn is a sandtrap waiting to highjack you

They do look like fun, you already 80% there all you have to do is focus on your swimming.

Last year when I did my scuba course we started off with a compulsary swim of 200m.

frickkin hell, I almost died, I enjoy swimming, but not thaaat much, so I wont even consider trying it

ok, maybe in my wetsuit and fins I'll give it a go - underwater

Walkerville 60km is smiley35.gif difficult! Having said that, I have never ridden Babbas.

Andy

Nice one bud, do you have a Sani entry? Explain the P- Roubaix please. How you gonna manage to get a ride there?

I have a friend would will be my team mate. He is connected! smiley2.gif So organising us an entry. I think it will be a substitute entry as one of his friends who did it this year is not riding and finishers get to enter first before the rest of us.

Well Paris-Roubaix is a race I have always wanted to ride. It follows the same route as the pro's do over the same distance and sections of pave! The sportive version is held every two years and the next one is in 2010.

@Kid, the 94.7 has never really been a race I have been too strong in. That is possibly due to always having exams around that time of the year. Only been able to ride it twice.
