Trubie - I'm sure you also received this mail from the Argus but I need to point something out to you (point 4):

"4. Racing Women and VB (40-49) start together.  VB riders may not ride domestique for any woman rider."

Take note!!

The toppies are going to be so distracted !!!

There goes the sub 3.

And a sub 5!

The toppies are going to try chat up the ladies and either a) cause a massive pileup involving everyone' date=' or B) a few might be successful and then stop riding and go on a date and a restaurant along the route, or c) a combination of a. and b.

Trubie, please put in a good word for me with Jennifer Hohl! [img']https://assets.bikehub.co.za/legacy_images/smilies/smiley2.gif[/img]

Are they riding as a team Andy? Or is JH riding solo?

If they are riding as a team, Trubie you are in serious k@k. Actually, no words can prepare you for the amount of hurt them Schweizers will bring!

I think the ladies are riding as teams in the same group as VB.

GO, I may be in more serious k@k than friend Trubie! I get a nice email (same as Trubie) saying that "A" is the $ group of last year and limitted to Juniors, U23 and Elites born after 1980, welll those that aren't in the Invitational Race!

But it will be a great experience and I am looking forward to it! Can't wait!

Geez, one American does the Argus and the whole race becomes a shambles!!

Good luck Andy.

I think Trubie will find the racing harder, but better in VB. Its a lot more of a racing category than he's used to.

As for those ladies racing with you, if they are doing it as their trade teams, eina! Those foreign ladies can ride...but to be honest I doubt they would really affect the VB outcome.

Thanks GO!!!

Yes, he would be in A if he wasn't born before 1980. smiley2.gif And he is too good for the B group.

They can but they haven't seem to have made too much of an impact here this year. Ok, Stennerhag has won a race or two. I have a friend who rode R4S with them and and she complained of the slow pace in the first half or so of the race. Hohl rides for the local Bizhub team.

Trubie, I have some questions for you:

1. When Burry won his Giro stage what bike was he riding?

2. In Paris - Nice who has the yellow jersey after yesterday's stage and what bike does he ride?

Hmmm.. and he was trying to make THAT bike of his heavier for the stage... Now WHY would he do that?

Could it be that the bike manufacturer built a bike of illegal weight?
