I just had a look at the seedings for the Bela-Bela race' date=' and I'm not impressed at ALL. This is the first of the bigger races where I got lumped into the A bunch (I guess I'm the last one there) and now I have a cold [img']

Even if it all gets cleared out by Saturday I'm still not going to be A OK. Will have to kiss a fast time (or the race) good bye.

Paul, enjoy the race and who knows, this might be the race where you can get into the +40km/h averages

 

Kieran, Saul give it stick and from August you'll be with Paul in the A bunch

Lost City 09, goal was achieved

Depends on if the oxman wants me to ride in his place again. Also depends on if he has plans for me to ride 95 or 156. Not too sure I can manage 95 yet. 

 

But I would be way out of my depth in any A bunch. I got lazy and slow during my recovery period.  Unless of course, you plan to take the chicken run in case it rains and you want me to ride in your place.

 

I'll have to bum a lift with the kid, or Trubie, or both to get there. I can only commute about as far as Sandton at this stage. If I leave tomorrow morning, I might make it to Bela Bela by about sometime just before Chrsitmas.

I was wondering if you knew that Ox was in the A bunch, good thing you do.

Now all you have to do is stick to Trubie's wheel because if you don't you'll eventually get passed by Ha Ha followed by Tachy then me. Just make sure you don't notice the tow rope from Ha Ha's bike .

 

Going to collect numbers tomorrow, so if you going to ride in Ox's place let me have the details and I'll fetch the number for you.

I haven't spoken to OX about it yet. Not sure I should be racing just yet either. I am nowhere near fit enough and all the glue in the world won't help me stick on Trubies wheel.

 

He has become a racing snake of note. And as for Ha-Ha Kieran.... He's a skinny racing snake. Speaking of which, you looked like you had a fair head of steam going up towards Rietvlei this AM. You were going faster uphill than I was managing downhill.

You were obviously seeing things, are you sure you were fully awake at the time ?

That site has been more accurate the the SA weather service.

But if it's a 37km/h tail wind I'll prefer your forecast but if it's a head wind then I have a problem.

If anyone needs there bikes to go up to Bela Bela I have space for 2 more on the back of the bakkie. Made a pretty cool rack so they'll be hundreds safe
