Dude I'll ride in 5 meters of snow right about now!

Then you'll really fall but the landing could be softer smiley4.gif

I know! Its a win win situation! I get to ride... If I fall... I fall soft smiley4.gif

That's how I feel! Have to cruise around the whole day today just anticipating what is coming at 13:30 smiley11.gif

Don't stress about it, you probably won't feel a thing.

Can bet you the fall was worse than having the stitches removed

Having sutures out is nothing dude. It may snick a bit and be uncomfy, but no pain.

It is so easy to take them out, I sommer had my SO take the one out of my shoulder when it was time. Cut one end, deep breath in and yank.

Oh, and don't be a hero on the bike. The doc said stay off. He knows what he's talking about.

It may not be so bad now, but years down the line, it will bite you in the ass. Promise.

Been there, done that. Maybe not with cycling, but certainly running and squash injuries. Doc said rest, and yours truly was way too smart. Guess who's having the last laugh now?

Ahhhh, WTF, it's your hand / arm / tendon (Tennant for Kid). Go for it dude.

Slave - I was in the robot queue at the highway (M2) bridge. No riding, you were actually waiting for light to change [img']https://assets.bikehub.co.za/legacy_images/smilies/smiley32.gif[/img]

Enjoy it.

Yeah, Trubie, that is one of the many traffic lights I do stop at. With all the traffic and stuff going on at that time of the Am, it is generally wiser to stop and wait until the light is green. Way too many taxis there to take a chance.

Seems that my time of 1hr31 is now the benchmark. Did it on Friday and again today, and I wasn't pushing it hard at all. Maybe without traffic, and not having to stop at lights, I might take a good few more miutes off, but hey, that would be suicidal.

Spent the AM yesterday doing the "clean bike" thing. Gave it a good wash, and lube.

Hmmm not so sure about the whole sliding out thing... That's why I'm going back again today. The damn thoing is stuck! He couldn't get it out on Friday... smiley18.gif

Come to me & I'll bet you that I'll get it out smiley15.gif smiley15.gif

So the stitch eventually came out! Would rather rip my hand open again than endure that sort of pain ever again!!!

Boys and girls smiley19.gif

I'm going to be pretty quiet for a while. I resigned from the guest house today! Today is my last shift! I start my new job tomorrow! smiley20.gif

Doctor says the hand should be ready in 2 - 3 weeks time! Must just go past to get the all clear! Bike is built up once again now I have the agony of seeing it ready to be ridden smiley19.gif

Trubes, that thingaround your neck worries me.

Please post the pic I sent you of the correct use of a vuvu. I am having a problem doing it from my PC.

Looks like you had a joll with that parade.

Just one quesy: Where were Bafana BAfunny during the RWC and the CWC. We never saw them getting behind the bokke. Unfortunately, our pansy cricketers didn't need any help to cock it all up.
