All do the same. SRAM Red is the lightest of them all the last I read. But ultimately it is personal preference. I prefer the shifting on the SRAM to the shifting on Shimano. Personally Campagnolo's shifting would shift me into a mental hospital! I just don't like those little levers out the side. MTB tubbies and road tubbies are different. With MTB you want tubbies more because you will potentially get less flats. But for MTB you have to ask Nance. I do a bit here and there but Nance is the MTB'er of the group. Speaking of which we need another Breedt's Nek ride please Nance!

Not technical - all district gravel roads
