Dude, Andy has been cracking the whip this week.... I'm exhausted with all these 4h15 wake ups and hill repeats

I'll probably take a chance anyway so if nothing else I can have coffee with all you nut jobs ;)

Kewl, but hep this sleep fogged mind out. You starting at 7am, or at 5am?

Ahhh what a pity Del-boy, would've been good to see you again

but I'll let him know.

@ Oxman, I'll be taking the 7h00 shift... I have no intentions of getting up at 4h00 on a Sunday morning unless the house is burning down

I'll be sure to throw the thumbtacks out tonight before I go to sleep ;)

@Andy, yeah I felt sorry for that little dude when he sprawled all over the bridge and threw his bike in the dam, he was being kinda reckless though :(

The Spruit is becoming unpleasantly busy.. if you want to avoid the peak hour traffic, you need to be out there at the crack of sparrow fart

Thanks for the ride, just hope I feel better tomorrow than I did today

at least you'll all be a little worn out by lap number 1 by the time I start riding...

Thanks for an awesome two laps in the South Hummy, Nance, Slave, Kid, Mini Kid, BigS and Agteros. I really had a good ride! Definitely going to be on my list of frequent rides. Hummy, your Southern hospitality was excellent, from Broken City, the first lap, the second lap and then the extra bit! After not having ridden the Trek for so long an then the ride with Nance earlier this week I did a bit of tweaking and adjusting for today's ride. Pleased to report that the Trek is back in fully functional order and I will be riding it more often in the future. Thinking of a ride in the South next weekend. I would like to do some hills so need to look at options. But will be there one of the days.

We got to together at Rietvlei, and at just past 6:55 decided nobody else was going to pitch, so we moved down to the Xumbugs intersection where the groups still were. We looked out for a lost lady in Cyclelab kit, but saw nobody, so we waited, and waited, and waited ....

Hi, where did you guys start from? I have been using my phone to view this site since wednesday night and i have just seen the comments about reitvlei being the start?

Hanna, Hannah, Hannah..... tsk tsk <_<

Andy brought his Trek with Ultegra all the way out to the South so make up for inappropriate Trek comments he made earlier on in this thread, only to find a distinct lack of the Princess

Anyway, you'll have to make it up to us in the near future... coffee is on you ;)

Thanks for the ride guys, and thanks for keeping me company the entire loop around BigS (even crawling up the steps at my pace), was good to see you again *insert little hug emoticon that the Hub used to have over here*

oh ja, was good to see the rest of you too :D

Glad you guys enjoyed the ride.

You see Andy, for more than a year we have been telling you that the south is the place to ride.

We will welcome you back if you ask nicely, remember the first time is free!

I had a reasonable race, the little hilly section which consists of 3 mean short buggers within the first 10 k's, did its job and worked me over, and after popping the eyes back in and slurping extra hard to get the lungs back inside, I had quite a good ride with the chase group. Workrate was up there and I enjoyed the last 85 k's of the race tremendously. The ride on the N1 was pure bliss, and good prep for the N14. Similart type drags and nonsense if you know what I mean. My 2:32:56 was good enough to finish in the top 12% of the field, so I suppose all is fine. I did get dropped bug time on those climbs and the A bunch was won in 2:25, so ja, lotsa work still to do in next 12 months.

If you want a nice fast but testing race, go try the OFM.

well done Trubes old man. H, seems your reading skills are on par with Andy & Pint's arithmetic skills. Make no mistake, it was tough in the little breeze.
