How were all your rides ?

The weather was great for riding.

That's for a great ride Nancy, Joe Louw, Hummy & Mini Mini Me.

sun burnt the living daylights out of me....... at one stage the temp was up to 32. We really had a good overcast start but sun came out to play and it was hot. Wind killed us but we managed to drag our asses (one skinny one and one fat one) up over and around the reserve twice. I ventured into unfamiliar territory today and realized my core needs a good shake up this year. I ended with 5:13,118 k's (2:20 and 2:40 laps) and some riding before and inbetween.

Thanks Andy, Ha Ha, Spas and BIL

Glad you had a good outing Saul. You feeling better?

From being worried about getting rained on to being sun burnt - talk about extremes.

Well done guys !!!!

Had a good solo ride to Randfontein, where I promptly got lost  Ride back was into the wind all the way, so despite how my legs feel it was good training!

Temp maxed out at 34 @ quarter past 2. Went through 2.5 litre of liquids Energade during my three and a half hour ride.

Thanks, no swim otherwise I would have been in the morgue. Started @ 11:00, Drove out to the Cradle, left car at Teak Place and rode from there. Did 102km with just a little bit of climbing (883m) Route is here but will disappear again tomorrow at some arbitrary point

Today I suffered, gee the fitness she is done.

110km with 970m climbing but only an avg of 28.8km/h :( :(

The upcoming races are going to be tough for me, I'm nowhere near ready.

Don't even talk to me about the DC.

Indigo don't stress I was out for 5 weeks with my ribs and came back much stronger even 2 or 3 weeks wont do much harm just keep up low intensity base sessions like this one for a week or so and then you will see after 10 days how strong u feel, remember falling ill is the bodies way of saying u won't rest so am going to force you too, time out friend because u won't listen. It's in you best interest as hard as it sounds just relax u will get there :-)

Had quite a nice 22km run this morning in overcast weather. The last 7 kays were in a light rain. I struggled a bit towards the end (where most of hills were, or so it felt). Happy, especially after yesterday, as it is further than what I need to run in any planned event. Next two weekends will have shorter runs (12-15 max), so more emphasis needed on the midweek runs :)

A cracker 4 hour ride MTB yesterday and another 2.5hrs today. Weather was perfect for riding

Dudes that athlete otherwise known as 'slave' is training like a demon  - I see him at all hours of the day, this afternoon (yes Sunday!) I saw his svelte physic dancing up the pedals on Andries street

Gonna have to watch him :o

I race Friday morning, I am so fearful falling ill surrounded by rampant flu here but hopefully the neurobian will stick it :-) will keep posted just tapering off now to get the legs and arms ready and I am just going to go out and enjoy it :-) and see how it goes

Hey guys. Well done on the two lap SBR. That really is impressive.

Big S when you saw me I was between places. Had to get some chain lube (which I had planned to pick up in the morning but the rain she was piddling down.) So went to get it in the arvie instead.
