Guest Agteros Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Had a good laugh at the Max Speed: 93.0 mph under the timing tab !!I remember it being cold but not that cold. That was from standing around at the start before motion set in... Kinda mind boggling that speed on a compact crank road bike!

The wind chill factorat 40 k's an hour, making your eyes water so much people think you're crying. Also makes the nose run and I am not into that glazed dohnut look. GOv2.0000, maybe we should start our own little group and ride at like mid-day when the temp is a lot more civilised. Thankfully, the early morning temp has improved a lot over the past two days so I will think about riding this weekend. I have a strong leaning towards driving the couch around my living room. TV remote.

I've heard that the time changes to 7:30am at some stage but don't know when. So now that I'm back to 100% health, where / who is riding tomorrow ?Any special loops ?

And on Sunday the first part of the Lido and then of to Kareekloof. Possibly on monday as well, but we might go longer towards the hills in Heidelberg.

Last I heard, he was struggling with motivation and thinking of mothballing the bike. (Turning the farmgate into a garage ornament and dust collector.)

My MTB had a talk to me (NOT with), and I need to spend some quality time with it in the dirt on Saturday as it is threatning to leave me Sunday I'll join a club ride so I won't be down south, but Monday morning I'll be down in the souff for a (hopefully) easy ride.

I had a bet with teeny a couple of months ago when I was trying to see if the velo 8 could be set up as a cadence meter, so reset both his and mine. The bet was to be the first to reach 2000 km. I have 80 to go and he has 1600. Who do you think is gonna get there first?
