Should skewers be lightly greased or should they be dry?

Personally I lightly grease mine - but that's me.

Keeping your skewer greased keeps it from rusting, especially if it is a cheapy. The better quality ones don't rust so easy.

I find that vaseline works very wellLOL

I would like to ask the same question for the greasing of hub axels. Yay or nay?

If your axle has balls bearings then it will need to be greased.

I've heard that too much greasing of your Shpongle can affect the performance of your quick-release...
