I got a mail from a doggy 'roo shagger that said the park was staying open till 9PM tomorrow night. I was wondering who else is going?

 

I thought I'd give the green and blue tracks a quick go.

I'm riding there tomorrow night. Dusted off some lights today and charged the batteries. Looking forward to it - haven't done a night MTB ride in two years! Seems like they'll be open til 21h00 every Wednesday according to Geoff's email...

May be you should look into the amount of time, materials and energy that has gone into the park before proclaiming R 50.00 a rip-off. There are also cheaper multiple visit options available.

Been twice this week already.  Definitely worth the money! Great to have another option within riding distance.  Spruit/ Delta Park/ Emmerentia gets a bit tiring...

I agree 100%, and I must say I'm very critical of the park as I believe the trails are over developed. Too much berming and sculpting of the trails.

How many Km's in a lap at the park?

Is it open every night?

It closes at sundown every night, around 6:45, but seems it might stay open on Wed nights.

 

I can't believe there are stll people that gripe about the entry fee....when there are cheaper multi-visit options available, and especially after a lot of people and sponsors have really gone out on a limb to create this park for us, the mountain bikers. Anyway....I am really enjoying the park, and will be popping in at least once a week....luckily it is very close to work.
