Why the MTN Bike park is NOT World Class...

er, no. Just skipped to what I thought was my last viewed page on this. Sigh. Sorry.

Anyway, I rode my hardtail at the Bike Park yesterday ? rode everything and had a ball. Everything there so far is rideable on a hardtail. Hog is right, if you don't have fun, you're not going fast enough...

slightly off topic.

I heard that somebody built a bike park in Pretoria East.

anybody been there yet?

Yup Kungweni,  it's just one guy that build some loops, jumps and north shore on his plot.

More a small skills park than what the mtn park is, quite fun thought. Couple of tabletop jumps that's quite nice.

What a bunch of tossers you lot are. Can't just be grateful for the facilities you have. Typical South African complain again mentality. I am ashamed to call myself a cyclist in this company.

It's not a public park. It's a R50 a go facility. If people dont complain and say what they feel or want, then how can they know where the weaknesses are and how to improve the place?

oh sorry, you're one of those 'dont complain' people...yet you are complaining about complaining. hmmmmmWink

sicknessbustness, I'd enter into a battle of wits with you, however, I do feel that, judging by some of your comments, you may find yourself somewhat out of your weight category.

No need.

The park looks lame, and they shld be thankful that people even give their honest opinions here. Hey, so you don't like them. It's really ok.

Methinks the park owners shld come ride at Tokai some time and see how rad trails can be.

In case you hadn't noticed, there's a marked geographical difference between Cape Town and Joburg... How can you compare the two?

Any idea who to contact there? How to get there, entrance fee, website?

Need more info!
