OK, after struggling for weeks, wracking my brain, trying to think of a suitable christmas present for my fiancee to buy me that IS NOT cycling related, I give up! I am obviously addicted to, obsessed with cycling!

So, having accepted the inevitable, I have decided that I would like a few tools to be able to work on my fleet.

The question is, at a minimum, what basic tools should I have in my toolbox?

Or, is there a basic toolkit that I can purchase that has the basics, and add on the tools specific to the bikes/groupsets at a later date?

Where do I find such a thing in Gauteng?

No there is not a basic toolkit. the best investment is a Torquewrench but it's over R500 for the BBB one.

Otherwise a good chaintool and cable cutters are always a good start.
