Didn't know how to train, didn't know how to eat for optimum performance etc. There wasn't nearly as much information about the sport as there is now, mainly because there wasn't one cycling magazine, no Internet and no Pro willing to teach the youngsters... Great initiative Daryl! May it go really well and may you start off your 2009 season like you finished 2008 ? winning!
