snip snip...  Ride might also be read fairly quickly but there's lots more local content.

Have to agree with you cranky.. Well this was the last month I buy "Baiesukkeling"...

I rather put my money where the local stuff get more coverage.

I have just registered on the bicycling forum and as soon as i am accepted coz apparently i have to wait for admin to allow me in. (even the forum is a pain)  i am going to post a link to this thread and some extracts from this thread and lets see how long before admin removes me and my comments from the forum.

Gotta say that I found the latest Ride mag a really good read ... both under the Q & A sections, as well as tech articles. Took me a while to get through (which is what I expect from a magazine).   smiley32.gif

I cant believe anybody still reads this magazine, let alone buys it.!

I guess as long as their are people buying it, they will continue to print it.!

The mags a written by the same bunch  of guys who gave us 300 different articles on how to get a six pack (Men's Health). Seriously though I think they just copy and paste from the international website.

Agreed with the OP.  Very lean, but a good article from Bardy.  Must admit though, I'm not sure where this drop-off is that he couldn't ride.  The only one of any magnitude that I know of is on the original Mainline trail dropping you back onto the road to the quarry.

Again!!! the new Bicycling Magazine is on the local Garage convenience store's shelves and not on my bedside table! Even at R89 a year, I will rather pay the cover price & ensure I am not the last to read the mag. The same goes for Mens Health magazine!!Angry

There is still so much US content.

Come on Bicycling! You've started 2009 with "The Get-Lean Issue" and it's certainly lean. How about beefing up in 2009 with some local content?

Come on, I'm sure Nancy Drew was in the previous issue!LOLLOL Oh I remember it also was an piece by Sean!
